The Dante Alighieri Winnipeg Italian language school emphasizes learning through personalized attention, guaranteeing a rewarding Italian-immersion experience in the classroom and through our comprehensive in-class activities. Our school offers a friendly, personal and attentive approach to learning Italian. Dante Winnipeg was founded in 1956 and was one of the first Italian language schools in Winnipeg. It is small-scale and friendly, staffed with experienced teachers having a sincere desire to help you to learn in an atmosphere of relaxed, but attentive, individual support.
Italian Programs for Youth
Children attend classes at the Centro Caboto Centre and can start as early as 4 years old and finish in Grade 12. There are many different activities for the children to participate in such as Halloween Party, Spirit Month, Christmas Concert, Parent-Teacher Conferences, I Love to Read Month, Carnevale, Concorso Carducci Poetry Contest, and an End of the Year Concert.

Classes are held Saturdays, September 2026 to May 2027 from 10:00 am -12:00 pm

There are various levels of Italian for Adults. From beginner courses to conversational to advanced, there is a course that will suit your needs.
